Lucy Ito is a retired credit union executive with over 35 years of experience at the local, state, national, and international levels of the global credit union system.  As CEO of the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) and as CEO of Orange County’s Credit Union in California, she worked with State and Federal regulators and credit union practitioners across the country to foster safety and soundness, growth, and innovation in the U.S. dual charter credit union system.  Ms. Ito has also held executive positions with the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues.  She received a B.A. in Asian Studies and Economics from the University of California – Berkeley and an M.A. in Theoretical Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
